Jean Ling is a Singapore-based storyteller, speaker and grief coach, and the founder of Beautifully Rebuilt. After the end of a four-year relationship and a breast cancer diagnosis that followed soon after, Jean learned that grief can take many forms — and that it can affect confidence, identity and self-trust. Her work centres on one idea: you don’t have to stop grieving before you start living again. Through vulnerable storytelling and her Grieve • Love • Trust • Live framework, Jean supports women, particularly in midlife, to carry grief without losing themselves.

Jean Ling is a Singapore-based storyteller, speaker and grief coach, and the founder of Beautifully Rebuilt — a platform for honest conversations about grief, self-love, confidence and learning to live again after loss.
Jean’s work grew from her own experience. When a four-year relationship ended, she found herself grieving not only a person but the future she had imagined and the version of herself she had built. Soon after, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, facing chemotherapy, hair loss and a mastectomy while still rebuilding emotionally. Through it all she discovered something that now shapes everything she does: she could grieve and still live.
Before Beautifully Rebuilt, Jean built her career in corporate banking, in senior roles spanning client relationships, risk, operations, change and stakeholder management — giving her a deep understanding of women who carry private challenges while navigating demanding careers.
Today Jean coaches women in midlife who feel stuck in grief, and shares her signature keynote, Beautifully Rebuilt: How to Carry Grief Without Losing Yourself. She speaks not as someone who has finished healing, but as someone still rebuilding — and choosing herself along the way.
